Take it easy in "The Log Cabin," Located on private property. Enter our century-old cabin, featuring modern amenities such as central air, electric oven, fridge, Wi-Fi, shower, and more. You are only 2 miles from downtown Historic Hammond. There is a wide variety of restaurants, bars, art galleries, boutiques, and more! The Cabin is located 7 miles from the 25th annual Renaissance Fest for 6 weekends starting Nov 1 - Dec 7. It’s only 5 miles from the Hammond Air Show in October 11- 12. Enjoy!

Milk Hand House Peaceful 1 bedroom cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cabin was built in the 1950's for housing dairy workers. It sits on 11 acres. This area is an old dairy farm. Lots of family history here going all the way back to WWII. 1 bedroom with queen size bed, small laundry room, queen size fold out couch, pots and pan, dishes, microwave, stove and refrigerator with ice maker. Super fast high speed internet. Roku tv's. Peaceful front porch with rocking chairs and very tranquil view.

It also has a couch for an additional person and if two people would like to sleep on the futon, then it has an additional spot. The large porch is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Below is an outdoor space great for gatherings that includes a full bathroom, picnic tables, barbecue pit, and a food prep area. During the summer it has a built in large fan to keep the entire area cool.

It comes furnished and includes a private bathroom with a full shower and commode, heat and A/C, and WiFi access, plus a kitchen with a full refrigerator and range. Please bring towels, blankets, pillows, linens, grilling utensils, and personal items.
