The Michelin 3-starred Waterside Inn and Fat Duck are a few mins walk away as are the Crown Inn, Hinds Head and Caldesi. Stroll 15 mins more and you’ll find the recently renovated Monkey Island Estate. A short drive and you can be at either Ascot or Windsor Races, Cliveden House, Legoland, the village of Cookham or the beautiful river Thames towns of Marlow or Henley

Great location for eating out and for access to countryside. Close to Windsor, Eton, Marlow, Cliveden National Trust and lovely river walks. 5 minutes from Maidenhead station. 10 minutes from The Fat Duck and the Waterside Inn. We are near a railway line. It doesn't bother us at all but you can hear the trains.

Chiltern Barn is a 230 year old converted hay barn in Wheeler End in Buckinghamshire - half way between London and Oxford, close to Marlow and Henley-on-Thames with easy access to the M40. Wheeler End is a small village in The Chilterns built around a large common. There is a friendly local pub, The Chequers and Lane End, less than mile away has local amenities, including a well stocked Londis, a newsagents, excellent farm shop, gastro-pub, Indian and Chinese takeaways, hair dressers etc.

The double doors from the patio, lead you into the main, open plan kitchen / living room / dining area. There is a sofa bed with large TV with immediate access to Netflix, iPlayer etc, and super fast WiFi. There is a downstairs loo. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower. It has all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We have tried to create a home from home for families and Contractors alike. All 4 bedrooms can be set up as either 2 x single beds or one king bed in each room. Located just off Farnham Rd (SL1), Slough Industrial estate and a wide range of shops and amenities are a short walk away, Slough train station is also 1.7 miles away.
