This well crafted stone cottage is close to beautiful Golden Bay bush walks, old historic gold workings, lonely beaches, the Mussel Inn, swimming holes and much more. A striking building nestled in a tranquil and private setting, makes for a relaxing stay that would suit couples and solo adventurers alike. Literally on Kahurangi National Park's doorstep! The host's partner has developed an extensive network of tracks , some easy walks and some more challenging, with great views of the bay.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

An easy 15 minute drive from Murchison at the convergence of the Tutaki you will find Mangles Valley Paradise. Surrounded by stunning native bush clad hills the property is situated in an elevated position enjoying spectacular 360 degree views with the Tutaki River flowing gently below. A short drive over the Braeburn Track will take you to beautiful Lake Rotoroa in the heart of the Neson Lakes. With walking distance to a quiet peaceful beach . Golden bay is full of other attractions and the accommodation is right in the middle of it. Our family of four live near by and will respect your privacy but the same time we are here to help you out with any questions you may have .
