While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Additionally, there are more than 20 cellar doors within a 1.5km, including Leconfield, Wirra Wirra and Down The Rabbit Hole, this is the perfect location to explore the McLaren Vale wine region..

Maunder Cottage Aldinga Township

We recognize the Kaurna people whose land holds our little cottage. Situated in Aldinga Township Maunder Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage that is self contained. It has one bedroom with Queen size bed. It has a fully renovated bathroom with a deep bath suitable for two people. The walls in the lounge room are made from limestone dug from the property. The building itself used to be the vets. We live in the house adjacent to the cottage. Our home was built in 1842.

A cosy, curated cottage with a rustic vibe, Ode to the Orchard is surrounded by the Adelaide Hills’ finest wineries and sits high on 16 acres. It is one of the original stone homes of the area and enjoys stunning 360 degree views of picturesque Lenswood. A comfy home located in historic and charming Willunga. It is a short 1 minute walk to High Street with cafes, local pubs, galleries, markets including the popular Willunga Farmer's Market. McLaren Vale wineries are nearby and beautiful beaches adorn our coast. 3 Peaks Haus is a recently built home. The large front yard and courtyard is surrounded by a beautiful garden that provides private sanctuary and local bird habitat.

One of the region’s premier accommodation places, Wildhill Retreat is a peaceful short-stay hideaway atop one of the highest points in McLaren Vale, overlooking vines, hills, and the sea.
