We live on site with our Daughter and dogs Russell & River and love hosting guests from around the world. 5 minutes from the heart of Te Awamutu and 30 minutes from Hamilton, we are central to all things Waikato. We are New Zealand's largest fenced eco-sanctuary, home to 2,500 kiwi which you should be able to hear at night. Your accommodation includes free access for self-guided walks through the Southern Enclosure, or book a tour to get truly immersed in nature.

Fleetwood Mack Housetruck in Pirongia

Stay in a Housetruck built from recycled/reused materials on the back of a Mack Truck. A Queen bed in the front loft and one single bed in the back. The Housetruck has basic kitchen facilities. Jug, toaster, fridge and microwave. A shower inside the truck, it runs from a califont so is set to one temperature using one tap. Please note that the toilet is located in a separate building about ten steps away along with the washing machine. You have unlimited private access to these.
