Stylishly Refurbished Heritage House (Muda Blue)

Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. Treehouse - Sleeping on a Durian tree

The double-storey treehouse is built within a 16-acre sustainably farmed fruit orchard located 300m above sea level. Fitted around an 80-year old durian tree, it is built by hand with recycled wood and bamboo harvested from the land. The treehouse has no walls, only bamboo blinds that open up to the trees all around so nature comes to you. Durians fruit only once a year at the farm, in June and July, so, worry not - no durian smell except during fruiting season in these 2 months.

This is a cottage with a unique countryside style of living nestled in a kampung. It takes 5 min. walking distance to the beach, 2km to the National Park, 2 min. drive to Escape Theme Park and Entopia (Butterflies Farm) and a beautiful dam, 400m to Toy Museum & Batik Factory. Nearby there are a couple of seafood restaurants, Halal food shops and numerous hawkers selling delicious local fare. Short drive to Art & Garden and numerous durian estates. There is so much to explore.
