Thisbe is an authentic, custom built wooden Gypsy Wagon. She offers a unique Gypsy Glamping Experience! She is fully equipped with all modern amenities. Raised queen size bed. Full size blue, ball and claw, slipper bath, modern flushing loo, kitchenette with antique décor. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery. A traditional wood burning Queenie Stove. Our 'tiny home' is nestled in the beautiful village of Clarens. Clarens is a small town situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in the Free State province of South Africa and nicknamed the "Jewel of the Eastern Free State". Enjoy a short walk to the main street of the charming Clarens village square filled with historic buildings surrounded by mountains. The Clarens 'Gazza' Pod is a modern 'Tiny Home' that has been designed by award winning MILarchi architects.

Vaalkrans Bundu Camp for 1 to 4 guests

The BUNDU (hunting) camp is located 150 meters away from the main building, Vaalkrans Game Lodge. The BUNDU camp has a sandstone building divided into 2 rooms with 2 single beds each. The kitchen/shower/terrace/toilet block is a short distance from the bedrooms. the kitchen is fully equipped, there are 2 showers and 2 toilets, the cozy braai is right next to the collective building. You can use the pool when there are no guests in the Lodge.

Fisherman's Hut

Ideally suited for 2 guests, this open-plan unit is furnished with a double bed and makes use of separate ablution facilities which are fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided. Additionally, this unit has a coffee station equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery. Furthermore, the unit has an indoor fireplace and outside braai with a beautiful view of the Maluti Mountains.

Reedbuck Cabin (Glamping)- on farm outside Clarens

(Not suitable for winter months unless you are an avid winter camper) Tucked away and with spectacular views, Duiker Cabin is a harming little wooden cabin with small undercover verandah, outside braai area and a private grassed area with firepit. Much like camping but with the advantage of not having to pitch a tent and lug your own bedding. NB: BYO cutlery and crockery. No kitchen is provided, no fridge, microwave, etc...

Experience the outdoors without the hassle of setting up a tent. Our cabin is 100% off the grid running off solar for power and borehole water. Enjoy walking and cycling trails, fishing on the dam or taking your off rd motor bike for an adventure. Horse riding is available on the farm next door.

The cottage has a double bed in the main room, with a fireplace at one side. A kitchenette and bathroom with a shower. There is a lovely verandah with a dining table and chairs.
