Peaceful countryside hideaway near Saffron Walden

Escape to this loft in open countryside; just over an hour from London, and close to Cambridge, this is the perfect spot to unwind. Rural walks on your doorstep, a covered barbecue area and a village pub down the lane. Wander the gardens and soak up the green while staying green yourself- this flat is powered by solar panels. In the cart-shed there is a covered outdoor dining area with chimera; as well as space to park and leave boots and bikes. We are a non-smoking/vaping premises. Pet fee£15

Stunning lodge in idyllic setting, near Cambridge

Unwind completely in this detached private lodge, overlooking a natural pond, abundant with wildlife. Breathe the fresh air. Listen to the birds. Relax. The lodge is perfectly designed and fully equipped, a truly comforting retreat. Within 10 minutes walk there’s a butcher, baker, deli, cafe and restaurants. Lovely walks across open countryside lead to some of the best eateries in the area. Explore museums and galleries, and enjoy theatre, festivals and punting in historic Cambridge and Ely.

Beautiful Cottage in the heart of Buntingford

Elmden is a beautiful two bedroom cottage set back off of the historic market town high street of Buntingford. A real hidden gem, full of period features. Stained glass, brick floor and exposed beams throughout the cottage. Our charming and cosy cottage is around half an hour from Cambridge and Saffron Walden. With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

Large rooms, sociable living spaces, a dining table to seat 12/14 and five bathrooms make this the perfect house for spending time with your family and friends. Whether you cosy up in front of the log burner during the colder months or open up the bifolds onto the patio in summer, everyone can stretch out and relax in this large house whatever the weather. The snug/gamesroom is a place to chill or play & the large well equipped kitchen has two ovens, an island hob and sociable seating areas.

Open plan with airy and bright double height main living space and bedroom mezzanine, stunning bathroom. Ideal for a couple or family with young children. Easy to reach both Cambridge and Newmarket as well as Ely which is 15 minutes drive away. Very close to Wicken Fen so great for walkers and nature lovers. Host is flexible with check-in and check-out times.

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. Enjoy a peaceful holiday with wonderful views overlooking the lake. Guests can access the water directly from the decking. There are steps down making it easy to launch paddle boards, kayaks or canoes. Why not be bold & try wild swimming or paddle up the river to the pub for a meal then spend your evening fishing from the deck or having a BBQ. There is an abundance of wildlife on the marina including geese, swans, kingfishers, muntjac deer, bats and on occasions otters.
