Amazing views of Lake Superior! Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Glamping! Our OG canvas wall tents are waterproof, super cozy and includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring + picnic table at each of our glamping sites. Tents are located within 200 feet of our brand new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

La Isla-Safari tent on an island with a hot tub!

This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! With all of the modern conveniences including hot water, outdoor shower, bar fridge, wifi and well appointed outdoor kitchen. This year we are building a treehouse on the island so although we will ensure no construction takes place during your stay, there will be construction materials around on the island

Zen Den: Backwoods Moss Roof Hut

Come get away from it all and unplug in the Zen Den at the Rest Stop For The Soul off-grid campground. This cozy tent is on a platform and under a moss roof built by Heather herself using materials sourced from the land on which it now sits. The property is nestled with-in state land and is walking distance from the river, a fishermans paradise. Across the river you can jump onto the North Country Trail. We are close to major ATV trails and are a 40min drive from Traverse City.

Blackberry Hilltop Bell Tent at Lost Woods

Relax and enjoy all that nature has to offer on the rolling hills of Lost Woods Farm & Forest, a 160-acre eco resort just minutes from Boyne Mountain. Explore trails, natural springs, creeks, and wildlife. Linens, pillows, lanterns, extra blankets, cooler and private fire pit are among the many amenities for Eco Luxury Campers. Our newly built Eco Bathhouse is one-of-a-kind and includes hot water, a vintage barn sink, local lavender bath products and runs on solar power.

Glamping Tent

Unwind in our cozy off-grid glamping tent, which features a comfy bed, propane powered outdoor shower, rustic outhouse, firepit/grill, and a picnic area. This is not a drive up site, the walk to site is about a minute. Wagons are provided to assist you in bringing your belongings to site. There is no hydro or running water on property, the water for the shower will be supplied for you. Occasional tool sounds may be heard as we continue developing the land.

The tent is located just minutes from Torch Lake, Lake Bellaire, and several ATV/ORV trails, making it the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Spend your days swimming, boating, and kayaking in the crystal-clear waters of Torch Lake, or explore the many hidden coves and bays of Lake Bellaire. And with several nearby golf courses and ski resorts, you can work on your swing or hit the slopes for an exhilarating adventure.
