Secluded cabin on animal sanctuary

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Country Haven

Country Haven is the perfect getaway; boasting the best of both rural countryside and proximity to nearby amenities. Private gated parking, allows you to come and go as you please. The guesthouse contains a large double bedroom, office space, bathroom, and open plan kitchen / living area downstairs. Free WiFi available during your stay. The Paddock or The Stables at Higginstown House

One of two self catering barn conversions 3.5km from Slane Village. When you arrive you will be allocated The Paddock or The Stables. Both accommodation units are the same and located side by side. No 3rd party bookings and our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

This is a very unique property on the beach front with direct access to the beach with stunning sea views. The apartment is in an idyllic location with views of the sea. It is the perfect base for city & countryside touring. Location is suitable for relaxation & adventure. This place is within a 5 minute walk of the center of Ashbourne village. It has been completely refurbished in July of 2024, and is clean and pristine. It's the perfect spot for a little getaway. A short walk to transport links to Dublin City Center and Dublin Airport etc. Everything for your stay is provided including bed-linens and towels. There is a small balcony with table and chairs too.
