The Famous Thiksey Monastery is just 15 minutes drive from my home and a visit to Thiksey monastery morning prayers is a must while staying here. Royal nangso is a 2 storey bungalow of 5 bedrooms and open Kitchen along with garden view balcony. It has ample of parking space and garden full of flowers and varieties of vegetables. Each bedroom has full height wooden carved windows though which one can have a mesmerizing view of ladhaki mountains covered in snow and clouds. In night one can see milky way (lot of stars in sky) through bedroom window and balcony. It is 15 min walking from Leh Market. We also have internet of airtel with 60mbps

The building in which the homestay is, had been built in traditional Ladakhi style, the floors are wooden & ceiling is also made in the traditional Ladakhi style- with tree trunks. Some of the rooms have best view of the mountains specially Stok glacier. ( 6150 meters above sea level). Outside the building there is farm in which we grow green-spinach, bokchoy, brocolli, cauliflower, cabbage, potato, tomato etc. we practice organic farming since 2009.

We welcome guests/ families who prefer some local cultural experience. Perfect place of you are driving into leh and want some peace and quiet. Additionally there are Doctors on the property which sometimes is important at this high altitude place.
