You can take the bus up to the 5th station where you can either start the hike up to the top of Mt Fuji, or just enjoy the view over the city and the small restaurants and shops there.

The end of the Fuji Subaru Line places you almost close enough to grab the summit of Mount Fuji. It’s a great spot for sightseeing. There are also a number of souvenir shops and restaurants.
