The village of Hastings has much to offer. From the many different restaurants (listed in a category below), to the unique stores and boutiques, to the gorgeous Trent River flowing through Lock 18. Hastings has a hometown atmosphere with a world class waterway. Enjoy boating, sailing, waterskiing, swimming and fishing!

Lock 18, located in the Town of Hastings, is the last lock before entering Rice Lake. The lock itself has a nice park area with tables providing a great spot for lunch or an afternoon break.

A great place to see the lock system in action. Watch the lock fill up to bring boaters up to the river that takes them into Rice Lake.
