The Freud Museum, at 20 Maresfield Gardens in Hampstead, was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they escaped Nazi annexation of Austria in 1938. It remained the family home until Anna Freud, the youngest daughter, died in 1982

“This gorgeous Victorian mansion is the perfect place for a cup of tea in Hampstead village with the added benefit of soaking in some Hampstead history with the museum on the upper floors. Sadly their scones are on the dry side but extra cream tends to do the trick :) ”
