Wilton's Music Hall
Dating back to the mid-19th century, this is one of the world’s oldest working music halls. After decades of neglect, it was finally restored and now has a fabulous selection of theatre, cabaret, music, dance, and opera. I love its intimacy and the genuine shabby-chic aesthetic. It’s like going back in time, but with a dance band for company. If you get bored just watching other people enjoy themselves onstage, why not try one of their fantastic workshops? Learn how to make props like a pro, write your own play, or just be a drama queen.
It is one of very few surviving music halls and retains many original features.
The last old music hall in the world has been lovingly restored and provides contemporary arts and culture themed around London life.
An amazing old music hall which has live music, art, performances and theatre.
Wilton's is the last original music hall to remain in London. They have a varied programme of plays, musicals and concerts which attract a loyal and local crowd. The theatre bar is often open in the evenings for live music. A truly unique venue.
