This is Indian food at its best and freshest. Excellent quality and excellent service. If you ask for less spice in your dish they will go out of there way to accommodate you. Staff are very pleasant and so is management. A great choice to satisfy your Indian cravings.

“True To Our Region. Recognized as the ‘jewel in Vancouver’s culinary crown’, West’s outstanding contemporary regional cuisine and seamless service has earned much critical acclaim. Pristine seasonal ingredients are sourced to deliver superbly conceived dishes offering modern interpretations of classics. For those keen to observe ‘behind the scenes’ action and experience West from a unique perspective, the two ‘chef’s tables’ can be found directly adjacent to the presentation kitchen. One of the highlights of the dining room is a temperature-controlled wall of wine, and under it, the long cherry wood bar that gracefully anchors the conversation—where martinis and cocktails are composed of fresh herbs, juices and creative infusions. A Werner Forster installation floats under the ceiling—a study of light and motion. The leather chairs are the Mario Bellini designed originals found at MOMA, surrounding etched stone tabletops, highlighting a handsome and inviting room that speaks to contemporary Vancouver.”
“Sushi and seafood from the city's best-known Japanese restaurant Repeat winner of the Vancouver magazine award for Best Formal Japanese, Hidekazu Tojo has recited his brand of Japanese seafood haiku at his eponymous restaurant for more than 25 years. At the dramatic (and quiet) premises on Broadway, signatures of albacore tuna tataki, baked sablefish, and sautéed halibut cheeks shine. A sake bar, omakase bar, and tatami rooms rim the room. Stars and moguls aboundÑbring money if you want to keep up. Sushi-bar stools are amongst the most coveted in town, and sushi is what Tojo is renowned for. But he works magic on the stovetop too: witness his smoked black cod in a slightly sweet broth, and sea urchin tongues baked au gratin with rich chunks of smoked sablefish, geoduck, and crab, brightened with fresh yuzu and served in the spiky urchin shell on a blanket of sea-salt snow.”
“Hands down the best sushi and seafood in the city! Sit at the sushi bar or dine in elegant style.”
