RedRocks has been serving artisanal wood-oven pizza to the Columbia Heights neighborhood since it opened in 2007. Set inside a converted row house, the cozy restaurant and bar is both a gathering place for the local community and a destination for pizza-lovers far and wide.
If you want to grab a casual pizza and beer, Red Rocks at the corner of 11th and Park is hard to beat!
Great pizza, appetizers, and large salads. Nice little patio and 1/2 price bottles of wine on Mondays!
“This is easy and well done comfort food and cocktails. A limited but excellent menu ranging from Duck confit to grill cheese sandwich and hamburgers. This is our go-to neighborhood spot. ”
“Located just down Monroe Street, I’m at The Coupe at least once a week! They do coffee and pastries to-go ($3-$5), as well as sit down breakfast ($15pp), lunch, and dinner. It’s pretty big so there isn’t usually a wait (Sometimes for brunch), and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out! ”
“New beer pub within walking distance! Get variety on tap, and good pub food. ”
“Get the huaraches happy hour special or a mezcal tasting flight at any time! The freshly made guacamole is excellent. ”
“Just across the street, Wonderland has great bar food, a lively patio, and entertainment many nights of the week (such as free open mic comedy). Try the breakfast burrito for brunch or the southern fried chicken sandwich and eggplant fries for dinner - and bring your appetite!”
