30 kms down a little used scenic road route 1178 from Chiang Dao, will take you to two entrances to Pha Daeng National Park. The first one you come to is Pong Arng Hot Springs, natural mineral hot springs that you can soak in. Changing rooms and showers. The park entrance ticket will also take you to the next entrance, Pang Tong Waterfall. This is a spectacular waterfall made from limestone. Known as a 'sticky' waterfall, the rocks are easy to walk on and not at all slippery, making is easy to climb up to other levels. Changing rooms provided. Please note that these are not regular tourist places, and cater to local people. If you are wearing a bikini, please cover with a T-shirt .
