This is the biggest canyon in Europe, with truly breathtaking landscapes. It is also an ideal spot for swimming and kayaking. Its total length is 175 km.

A good hour and a half drive from here but well worth it. Stunning views, and yes the water is that blue... Even in summer the water here is very cold so prepare for that, and plan your route ahead of time. The drive from Grasse to the back country is well worth it in itself.

Another natural experience near Lac Sainte Croix is the fantastic Canyon, Europe's largest. You just have to experience it and you can't do justice to the pictures in pictures.

After the Grand Canyon in the US the biggest Canyon inside of Europe. Absolut must see when you are in the South of France for more than one week.
