Greenlake is our go to place for a stress relieving walk. It is a nearly 3-mile loop around this beautiful lake. There are swim docks and it's another excellent place to put a paddle board or kayak in the water. Adjacent to the park is an off-leash dog park.

This Seattle park isn’t on many tourists’ radar because it’s fairly north of downtown, but locals love it for its plentiful picnic spots, its 2.8-mile path around the lake, its two swimming beaches, and (of course) Green Lake itself.

2.8 miles away on the other side of Woodland Park Zoo . Much loved 3 mile walking/bike path around the lake. Community Center with pool, boat rentals, swimming beach.

Great place to walk, 45 minutes around the lake with decent speed. Lots of restaurants, boathouse, community center, playground to explore . It is also a great place locals meet . My favorite place to catch up with my friends and get some exercises done.

Green Lake is great for some outdoor fun you can rent Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards at the park. Green Lake Beach also has abundant sand to lay down a towel. A sprawling green grass park area surrounds both beaches, offering excellent places for a picnic with 2 designated swim areas with lifeguards.
