Green Briar is the 57-acre Briar Patch Conservation Area, home of Peter Rabbit and many of the other Thornton Burgess animal characters. Walking trails are open to the public.

Named for Thornton Burgess, author of classic children's books such as Peter Rabbit, this nature center is great for the whole family. Tour the gardens, go on a short hike, view a real bee hive behind glass, visit the children's building for crafts, story time, and many rescued live animals on display. Check the website for program schedule and times.
