Up on the way to Ehden and Arez is the best trail in Lebanon for the greatest hike. You will njoy many sights of the Lebanese mountain and nature. And if you managed to find a guide that you can afford and who knows the mountain well... oh trust me it's worth it.

It is a unique and beautiful place to go for hiking and enjoying at the same time Qadisha valley, the one of the most important early Christian monastic settlements in the world.

Kadisha Valley is very peaceful place that you should visit in summer and even in winter. In summer, you can easily enjoy yourself there for a few days, exploring the valley, the quiet mountain village of Bcharre and the nearby old cedar forest. Other highlights include a hike to the highest peak of Qornet es-Sawda; a visit to the ponds and springs of Oyoun Orghosh, the summer town and nature reserve of Ehden, the Tannourine Nature Reserve and close-by Balaa sinkhole; or a lunch or dinner at the waterfalls in Kfar Helda. Be aware that even in summer, evenings can get chilly. In winter, the duration of your stay in this area all depends on how much of a snow fanatic you are.
