In the centre of south Dublin City you’ll find Molly.....the Tart with the Cart or the Trollop with the Scallops.....Dublin humour! You’ll know the song ‘cockles and mussels alive alive oh’

You'll see this statue and will be wondering why is it famous. There is a famous Irish song (you'll certainly will hear if you go to Temple Bar) that tells the story of this beautiful fishmonger who sold cockles and mussels from her barrow which she wheeled through the streets of Dublin city.
