Ramsar Convention wetland locates in Balapitiya a proximity destination to Colombo as well as Galle. It is known as one of world heritage site with very nice and picturesque pristine mangroves forest. This amazing place has been spread over 900 hectares with amazing 64 islands. There are mangroves forest tunnels in everywhere and it a great place to enjoy the surroundings. Also this place is a great platform to watching birds thousands of birds having nestle in this tremendous place. There are many recorded unique biodiversity in this amazing place. While having enthusiastic boat safari in here can enjoy many unique things. There are number of mangrove variety found in Maadu River.

A tremendous location to feel the natural lush. Koggala one of ancient fishing village located in down south. Koggala full filled with finest sandy beach located in down south close to world heritage city Galle. You can find a famous reef and other part bounded to stunning and picturesque lake. Koggala is one of coastal town with great history which goes up to II world war. One of the great place called Bird’s Island there was a sourced to a Sri Lankan novel which was written by Martin Wickramasinghe, book called Madolduwa (Bird’s Island). Koggala is not-spoiled lake located in near Galle.
