If you are looking for good sushi with our the crazy expense, this is a hidden gem. Not a lot of glam.....but its good. And close to some beer tasting rooms like Elysian and Georgetown brewing.
Sushi. Yakisoba. Katsudon. The Cutting Board is a cut above our other fave, I Luv Teriyaki, when it comes to teriyaki plus the sushi. Mmmmmmm.
“My go-to neighborhood coffee spot. They make pretty latte art too. They have a good selection of sweet goodies to go with your coffee. Savory food is limited; they have breakfast muffins but you have to heat them up yourself. I love the neighborhood vibe here so you get a good mix of people reading their books, drawing, and chatting with friends, rather than just rows and rows of people sitting with their laptops. ”
“This place is so fantastic! Playground, spray park, and a nice soccer field? Be still my heart! The playground and spray park also have big trees that provide some shade from the sun if you are Seattle white and don't want to turn salmon pink. Foot traffic from nearby businesses and other random pedestrians can get pretty interesting. All in all, great place to enjoy the beautiful Emerald City summer and a good place to people watch. ”

“The Carleton is the kind of small neighborhood grocery you grew up with, a quintessential corner store. Say "hi" to Alan, LaDele and their pug. Grab a few essentials. We love to get our neighborhood news when we stop by the Carleton and our kids love the ice cream. ”
“Oxbow Park is a public park in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. It houses the landmark Hat 'n' Boots roadside attraction, which was relocated to the park.”
