Beautiful Zoo. In the summer you can take a walk in the park, outside the zoo and watch the polar bears!

The only zoological-botanical garden in Germany, this is one of the most worthwhile places to spend some leisure time in Baden-Wurttemberg. In Wilhelma there are many great attractions. This historical park is one of the finest in Europe - not only a spacious zoo featuring some 11,000 animals from 1,200 species, but also a gigantic botanical garden featuring around 7,000 varieties of plant, a great pond & a butterfly room. A particular feature is the former Moorish garden created for King Wilhelm 1 of Wurttemberg. There is also an aquarium.

One of my favorite places. It's a very nice zoo and botanical garden. Also great for kids with a small farm inside and playgrounds. In summer sometimes the elephands go for a walk in the park.

It´s the only zoological botanical garden in Europe. Unique world wide for the combination of plants, animals and historic buildings. It´s a magical place when the Magnolia -trees blossom in spring!
