Its a lovely recently new build Beach area close to the airport. It has everything you could ask from a beach; light grey sand beach, ice shops, skate park, paddleboard and canoe rental. Don’t forget to visit the “snail/sneglen” if you like to jump in the sea 🫶🏼

Biggest beach in Copenhagen. Approx. 8km from downtown. Easy access by Metro ( Amager Strand) or by bike (20 minutes).

If you find yourself in Copenhagen on one of the few hot days we get aound here, a trip to the beach is a great way to unwind. The area is huge, and you can either swim in the ocean or the laguna. If you like a little action, you can rent kayaks, paddle boards or windsurfing equipment. This area also offer a good selection of cafés and restaurants.
