Reuben's is Meg's favorite place for a local favorite: smoked meat, otherwise known as corned beef. Reuben's has a classy feel and is a great place for families or date night. They have a variety of options but she always goes with the 1 lb sandwhich, so there's some for later. Save room for dessert! It's open from 6:30 AM to midnight, so it's usually open.

If Schwartz's is too packed, Rueben's on Ste Catherine is just as good. They're an actual restaurant instead of a deli, with way more menu options, but again the smoked meat (no matter how you take it) is really incredible.
