This is THE BEST little place for a well earned lunch, brunch or coffee and dessert, before or after a long day in the hills, or on the slopes. Easy to reach, on the bus route, ample parking and a great view! The hosts, Miriam and Bruno are always welcoming, friendly and helpful, whilst the infamous Chef Tilo is always creative and diverse with his menus! Original, delicious, locally sourced and made in-house. Check out their seasonal opening times online.

An absolute MUST-DO while in Grindelwald If you visit during the day for a snack and drink, you will want to come again and again. Most importantly their coffee is delightful and their cakes divine! It seems like a family affair and the team are all polite, friendly and the place has a warm feel to it. The restaurant sits on the pretty Terrassenweg, a quiet road which runs along the ridge above Grindelwald with lovely views of the mountains opposite. They have an outside terrace and a café with lots of character inside. Open from 08.30 am till 06.00 p.m., but on Friday and Saturdays they open late for evening meals and barbecues.
