It does not matter if you are inside or outside this landmark it is a must see for all ages.
Kids under 18 are free and they have an awesome collection. They are expanding and renovating 1/2 the museum, so right now it's smallish and manageable in an afternoon.
2 buildings (the second designed by architect Daniel Libeskind) highlighting Western & regional art.
Great art museum with interesting rotating exhibitions. Free admission on the first Saturday of each month.
The quintessential spot for rainy days or those who fancy themselves art-lovers. Something for (almost) every artistic palette
“This is an awesome museum with lots of interactive exhibits and a planetarium! Also, who doesn’t love dinosaurs?!”
“Beautiful, peaceful gardens at any time of year. There is a children's garden above the parking garage.”
“Lions and tigers and bears – and so much more, on lovely grounds make the Denver Zoo one of the most popular zoos in America. Go underwater with polar bears at Northern Shores, or eyeball-to-eyeball with a gorilla in Primate Panorama. Predator Ridge recreates the plains of Africa with a pride of lions, while Tropical Discovery is rainforest teeming with crocodiles and gila monsters. ”
“Concerts actually run year round; yoga sessions and summer movies; hiking; handicap accessible ”
“If you are looking for a more typical, big shopping center, Cherry Creek Mall is the place to go. It has got Macy's, Nordstorms, Apple Store and an AMC Theatre. When it is cold and snowy, it is a better place to get your shopping down than the 16th street mall. ”
