“Great food done right” A staple neighborhood tavern since 1933 was bought in 2013 and received a much-needed revival. Burgers, entrées, dessert, appetizers and more. There is something delicious and affordable for everyone. Nightlife includes watching sporting events, karaoke, or DJ. Shannon grew up going to The Tavern (as it was called). Two of our children at UL enjoy eating there now!

Good Old Louisville. A neighborhood staple, reborn. Affordable with outdoor seating.

Somewhat adventurous menu of mostly standard American fare. Great place for a lunchtime meal and beer with a friend. Outdoor seating, good service, and lower noise levels than you'd expect for such a happening place. Good specials (including $1 beer nights on Thursdays!). Hipsteropolis.

Amazing burgers! Closed due to a fire, but they're planning to reopen.
