Stop by the ranger district or visit online! They offer live tours (geology, bird ID, wildflowers, & kids tours). Check out the exhibits & test your skills identifying local animal tracks and dung!

It depends on how long you want to hike and the difficulty level your looking for, my best advice to find the right hike for your skill level is to drop by Red Rock Visitor Center and Ranger Station (8375 AZ-179, Sedona, AZ 86351).

The Red Rock Ranger Station should be the FIRST stop for anyone not familiar with the area. An amazing visitor center where visitors and locals alike will enjoy learning about the area’s many scenic wonders and world class recreation opportunities acquire maps, Nat'l Recreation & Red Rock Passes. Perfect place to get information on the numerous hiking and mountain biking trails (time needed, difficulty, location), and the view is great, too.
