"Peaceful Heart" Log Cabin on Ruth Lake

Orig. from Germany, we love our little paradise on Ruth Lake and would like to share it with you. We live on the same property, there is enough room to respect each other's privacy. You are welcome to the gifts of nature and the use of kayak, canoe, fishing boat( licen.) bicycles. We are very well travelled and know exactly how nice it is to find a welcoming home away from home. We would like to share our experiences of the area. We are open the howl year and we are Pet friendly, please ask !

Beautiful private self contained suite just 1 min walk to Okanagan lake, 2 min drive to all amenities include restaurants, groceries, wineries, etc. Very quite area. We are a very quiet family with 2 small kids, so if you need anything at all we are here to help you. Wake up in the morning and make yourself a coffee or tea and why not go enjoy it right on the beach, or on your private outdoor space. Enjoy a BBQ with ur loved ones and just relax. Enjoy some delicious wine on the trail nearby.

Vernon Lakeshore Paradise Retreat

Enjoy a glamping experience in the cosy Snug (10ft. by 12 ft.). With high peaked ceiling, the snug sits at the waters edge. Access your private bathroom inside the main house through the doorway closest to the snug . At night you may be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves. You might see beaver who swim by under the willows at dawn and dusk and stop to nibble on the willow leaves, raccoon or deer. Bald headed and golden eagles nest above hiking trails in the pine forest steps away.

We are located on Oyamas Isthmus between Wood Lake to the south and beautiful Kalamalka Lake to the north. The rail trail is minutes away and is great for walking or cycling and goes right around Wood Lake (Turtle Bay pub is a great stop on this route) as well as along the shore of Kalamalka Lake right into Vernon. There are great hikes, skiing (Big White and Silverstar), mountain biking, golf and vineyards all around and there are buses to Vernon or Kelowna a short walk away

The loft has three double beds and pull out sofa in the living room. Full bathroom with shower. Full kitchen. Balcony and deck with BBQ. There is a private hot tub right beside the cabin. Swimming, Fishing, quading, hunting, hiking in the summer. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, skating in the winter. A true 4 seasons getaway.
