Tiny Home of Whittington

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

There are plenty of things to do and many other attractions to enjoy. The space offers 2 bedroom (one king, one double bed), 1 bath is comfortable for 1-4 people. This home is fully furnished with all the essentials you will need. Not suitable toddlers.

Spurlock Place- Shawnee National Forest (HOT TUB)

Hike, explore, work, or relax on our 2 country acres. Just 15 minutes from the Garden of the Gods, our home features a game room, high speed Internet, and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy nature. There’s a large gas station and DG store 1/2 mile away for anything you need, and Harrisburg is just a short drive further. If you’re looking to explore or hunt in the Shawnee National Forest, this is the perfect place to be! Guests have full access to the home, hot tub and all amenities.

The area is rural and quiet. The property is not fully fenced in. SORRY NO CATS Dog Friendly - Dog should be house trained, no fleas, and up to date on all vacations.
