It's ideally located for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, steam railway, the coast and the historic walled city of York. Located on one of the main roads in Pickering (sometimes there will be traffic noise) the tree lined street of Eastgate is beautiful in all seasons and the town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Visit one of the fantastic pubs or catch a steam train to Whitby.

Jasmine Cottage is a beautiful 19th century home set within the idyllic village of Lockton in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is only 10 minutes from Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and Dalby Forest, a 15 minute drive to Malton (the food capital of the North) and 20 minutes to the wonderful North Yorkshire coast. The cottage is very comfortable and relaxing with beautiful sunny gardens at the front and rear of the property. All rooms are tastefully furnished to a high standard.

The Nook

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Dalby and Langdale Forests and nearby moorland from your doorstep. An ideal place for walking and cycling, with many local tracks, footpaths and bridleways, or just relax in the garden and listen to the birds. If you fancy a day at the beach, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Filey are all within easy reach by car, A great place to get away from it all, Dalby is also a designated dark skies site so it's great for star gazing on a clear night.

Goose End Cottage, North Yorkshire

Take a break and unwind in a characterful cottage set in beautiful countryside. This 18th century grade-II listed property is right beside the River Seven, in the picturesque village of Sinnington, and the North York Moors National Park. The cottage is full of original character, whilst having all the amenities needed for a relaxing break. Many amazing walks can be enjoyed from right outside the door and the wonderful village pub and restaurant is only a few minutes walk away.

The grade 2 listed 'Charlotte Cottage' is the first in the run of former servants cottages. This beautiful limestone built cottage has an open plan kitchen and lounge with glazed door that opens on to a patio with table, chairs and a BBQ. Beyond is Langton halls back lawn which leads to 20 acres of parkland for you to explore at your leisure. Located within our grounds is an idyllic waterfall- perfect for picnics. Characterful and quaint 3 bedroom Grade II listed cottage, built in 1800 with open plan living. Within easy walking distance of many shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and the castle, there is parking very close by. Castlegate cottage is a perfect base for exploring the many local attractions and places of interest, such as The Steam railway, Beck Isle museum, The North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby, Scarborough, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp, Dalby Forest and York.

Oak Cottage is in the perfect place to explore Pickering and the surrounding North Yorkshire Moors and Coast. With Parking for 1 car and Just a 5 to 10 minute walk into central Pickering and the NYM Railway. Fully equipped for a comfortable and relaxing stay with lots of luxurious extras. We can sleep upto 4 people and one well behaved dog is welcome, but must be added to your booking for a small charge. It is a terraced cottage on the main road.
