Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you around their small farm including cows, chickens and native birds, and browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Sunny, self contained rooms including separate kitchenette & bathroom with access to shared deck & garden. Own access, twin single beds & free ON STREET PARKING. No extra cleaning fee. I personally clean thoroughly and sanitise all hard surfaces, but expect you to clean, dry & put stuff away that you use where you found them. Bus is Myway, which you book & it picks to up close by or 25-30 minutes walk to town centre, 5 min drive. Supermarket 10 mins walk.

Looking for family- friendly or workplace accommodation? We tick all the boxes. With 3 bedrooms, open plan living, big log fire, private off street parking on a flat section. Everything you need for cooking but if you don't feel like it a 1 min drive to a restaurant saves that hassle. There is a trampoline and a big back yard for the kids to burn off some energy. Also a games room with arcade games with toys and board games to keep them amused.

At Scenic views you can kick back and relax with a book or have a soak in the spa while being surrounded by bird song and bush views of the local scenic reserve (Centennial park). Or for the more adventurous, you can explore the many walking or mountain biking tracks right on our doorstep. Timaru Central

Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
