Just off Memorial Avenue in the Fort Hill neighborhood gives easy access to groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Full kitchen, tv with local channels as well as Roku, off street parking and climate controlled. Great for families, LU intensives, traveling nurses, and anyone needing a home base while visiting the area.

Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

With miles of trails, the Bluff is a perfect place for botany or photography or just plain old serenity. Note: children must be supervised at all times and alcohol/tobacco/etc are not allowed on the property.

The Cottage is centrally located between Lexington, Glasgow, Natural Bridge, with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Appalachian Trail.

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

A Perfect Country Getaway

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.
