Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Named for the acorn and pineapple motifs in the matching antique furnishings, the Oaknut Room at Cricket's Farm is spacious, elegant, and relaxing, ready for remote work or long philosophical conversations. Recline on the fainting couch with a book from our library or enjoy the room's view of our "barnyard," featuring chickens and miniature goats. The queen bed offers ample comfort, with floorspace for an extra air mattress in a pinch. Welcome!

Finch House & Garden, Richford, Finger Lakes

Beautiful spacious home from the 1860s and perennial garden. Plenty of amenities, and a creek, field, and forest. Close to Ithaca, Cortland, Owego, and Greek Peak. Our back yard connects with over 100 acres of woods with wildlife, views, hiking trails and adjacent Finger Lakes Land Trust preserve. You’ll love the charming rooms, high ceilings, beautiful yard and outdoor spaces. Our house is good for couples, families (with kids), and groups. We recently added a piano and fenced dog yard.

Since the modern bohemian still has an office job we have high speed internet and lots of places to work including a dual monitor setup ready for your Zoom calls and spreadsheets. Industrial meets rural in this tiny home built from a shipping container. Experience tiny home living without giving up any modern amenities. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi, smart TV, and more. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and someone can sleep on the couch. Bathroom has a walk-in shower. The living space has a couch, table for three, and Roku TV. Well behaved dogs are welcome when added to the reservation, sorry no cats or other pets.

Our inside pets are sheltie Cricket and Wyatt, a new kitten! Your stay includes access to our vegan/vegetarian kitchen. We're just 10 minutes south of Ithaca. Our Bantam Bedroom may be small, but it has all you need for a relaxing stay!
