The Vardo - a charming bohemian caravan

Stay overnight in a vardo, a unique and charming bohemian-style caravan inspired by 19th century English and Irish shepherd's huts. This cozy space sleeps 2 people and includes a cooking facilities, indoor and outdoor seating and free firewood. The bath house has includes a modern composting toilet, solar shower stall and hand/dish washing station. We are located close to wineries, state parks with gorges & waterfalls, lakes, the vibrant city of Ithaca, Cornell University and Ithaca College.

Lovely, Spacious, Private Studio

Beautiful, spacious, spotless, Studio apt. w/ updated kitchen & bathroom (tub & shower) & bamboo floors. The queen size bed is partially separated from the living room by a breakfast counter. Living room has 2 daybeds. Entire space sleeps 4. Excellent WiFi & Cable TV. I will leave good quality bread, eggs, coffee & other breakfast items for you to cook. Pls. note that price will automatically reflect a fee of $30 per night for each additional guest after the first 2 guests. No toddlers.

Our guest house is located on a dead-end road five minutes from the town of Newark Valley and only 30 minutes from Binghamton, Cortland, and Ithaca Included is a kitchen with open common area, two bedrooms, full bath and washer/dryer within living area. A farm setting is viewable from the common area and attached deck. There is a 2 acre pond and miles of scenic trails spread over 250+ acres, with sights as far as Pennsylvania!

Howland Farm

The John Howland Farm is an iconic 1840s family farm. We follow strict cleaning protocols and only accept whole house reservations. Your party will be the only guests at the farmhouse. The "Butterfly Suite" includes three bedrooms, sitting room with board games, books, and private bath. The "Garden Suite" is fully ADA accessible with bedroom, bath, and sitting room. The "Pine Cone Suite" is also ADA accessible with bedroom, bath, and adjacent laundry room.

Sauna Getaway in the Finger Lakes

New (2020 built!) scandinavian style apartment with sauna for two. This private flat occupies an entire lower level of the house and includes all new finishings, new mattress, kitchen, full bathroom, and laundry. Just 4 miles from Cornell and 5 miles from downtown Ithaca/Ithaca College, this is a popular stay for parents visiting children at college, attending special events, or for an adventurous or relaxing getaway in nature. Longer stays also welcome.

You can eat in the "cafe" relax in the "square" and sleep in your own private "Loft home" which sleeps one comfortably or two if you like to snuggle tight.
