Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 250 year old Wise Cottage has a boutique feel and sweeping views. Situated in a beautiful village near Shaftesbury, Dorset. The cottage sleeps four, 1 large master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small bedroom with adult bunks (plus a guest bed for a fifth guest). Well behaved dogs are welcome! Organic toiletries, bath robes, well equipped kitchen, wood burner, super fast Wifi, garden and beautiful walks straight out of the front door.

Upstairs there is a very comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. The house is in a tranquil 4 acre plot with lovely views from your personal raised sundeck. All within walking distance from Tisbury village and train station.

Holiday Cottage Donhead St Andrew, Talbot Cottage

Quiet, rural cottage in stunning countryside, Donhead St Andrew, just outside Tisbury, on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, in the Cranborne Chase AONB. Talbot Cottage is a delightful newly renovated two-bedroom single-story cottage, in seven acres of garden and fields. You have your own entrance, wheelchair friendly. Great wifi, underfloor heating, two ensuite bath/shower rooms (one with disabled facilities). Locally sourced Bramley products in the bathroom. East-facing terrace. Self-catering.

Ansty, Tisbury - Spacious Annex

Our annex features two spacious double bedrooms ensuite with super kingsize beds which can be split into single beds upon request. One ensuite includes a bath and shower, while the other has a shower. There is NO kitchen but there is a dining area/room with fridge, microwave and kettle and we supply milk, coffee and tea and continental breakfast. Bookings for 2 guests include access to one double bedroom. If you would like to use both bedrooms, please select 3 or 4 guests when booking.

Fab Loft, walks, pubs in West Wiltshire Nr Tisbury

A modernised 1 bedroomed annex located in the beautiful village of Teffont, close to Tisbury, Salisbury and Stonehenge. 5 mins drive from the A303 giving easy access to London or the West. There are many points of interest nearby, some fabulous pubs and great walks. Our loft is completely self contained with everything you need for a cosy time away from home. We do welcome small/medium sized, well behaved dogs but request that they are kept off the furniture. We charge £15/dog/night.

Wonderful selection of pubs locally, a choice for each night’s stay. Breakfast is laid out in the orangery, all home made (told it is “scoffable”).

Beech House is a new, stone-built 4-bedroom house with a large open-plan living area and beautiful views over rooftops to the countryside beyond. Nestled in the heart of the popular small town of Tisbury, it’s a convenient stroll away from high-street shops, pubs and the train station.
