Located along the tranquil Toccoa River—right across Aska Rd—you’re less than 3 miles from scenic hikes, including the double waterfall at Fall Branch Falls. River tubing is also within walking distance. After a day of exploring, relax in the hot tub, grill under the stars, or gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories.

Fully stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee maker & a wet bar on lower level. Deck extends to the water. Also has a fire pit, outdoor dining, grill, & plenty of outdoor seating. Excellent location for fishing, tubing & kayaking onsite. 20 mins to downtown Blue Ridge, 10 mins to downtown McCaysville & downstream from Lake Blue Ridge

The Toccoa Overlook

Beginning with exquisite long-range views of the Cohutta Mountains and the Toccoa River, combined with tasteful modern rustic design, the Toccoa Overlook is a perfect couple's retreat, or a gathering of up to eight guests, when the optional guest house is included. The main house has two bedrooms and two baths. The guest house has two queen size bunks with one bathroom and is available as an optional space and PRICED SEPARATELY ($100 per night & $25 cleaning), and not rented to other guests.

Located in the Aska Adventure area, we're just a short drive to Lake Blue Ridge where fishing, swimming, and boating are available. In the North Georgia mountains, The Roost is situated on the edge of the National Forest and hugs the banks of the Toccoa River. You can hike nearby trails, tube, kayak, swim, or fish during the day, then spend your evening relaxing in the hot tub on the screened porch overlooking the river. - Fully Stocked Kitchen - Sleeps 7 - Fire pit - Dog friendly: $75 fee per pet - Propane Grill - 40-45 minutes from nearby towns. This real log cabin sits just 25 feet from the beautiful Cartecay River in Ellijay. The cabin is made of reclaimed white oak logs that are over 200 years old. Fish, tube, kayak, or just relax to the mesmerizing sound of the mighty river. The cabin has all of the conveniences of home. Firepit next to the river is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. Across the river is the Rich Mountain Wildlife Management Area - nothing but 19,955 acres of nature!
