Cozy Stay at Animal Sanctuary

The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

3 The Stables ( Skipbridge Farm ) cottage nr York

Located in the Courtyard at Skipbridge Farm , No 3 the Stables is a one bedroomed cottage with a spacious lounge and original wooden beams . The cottage has a flat screen TV and DVD player and has a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower .All the rooms are on one level .There is ample parking in the courtyard for guests. The cottage has Wifi and a wood burning stove. We are approx 20 minutes from the centre of York, and a short drive away we have lovely local pubs that serve great food .

The Potting Shed

Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

Pear Tree Barn has been lovingly restored and converted as holiday accommodation during 2016. The old timbers have been retained but are not obtrusive, where the height of the interior allows the original A frame roof timbers add that necessary rustic charm to what is now a modern property. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Located just off the main A1 south to north road this is an ideal base for exploring the varied delights of Yorkshire and is the perfect gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, and the East coast.

Relax with the family at our peaceful cottage in the golden triangle in North Yorkshire. A truly beautiful place to stay. Guest Suite is attached onto my main house but is very peaceful and completely closed off for privacy. Hot tub (£20 extra) and BBQ. Kitchen. Living Room. Bathroom with shower. Fall asleep in our bedroom nest under the stars looking out from the skylights.
