Welcome to the Artist's Retreat, a beautiful and quaint 1 bedroom cape home directly on the Cayuga Inlet, once a studio for a renowned Ithaca artist. Enjoy watching the Cornell and IC rowing teams in the morning, seeing eagles and herons in the afternoon, and the 2-minute drive to restaurants, bars, and downtown in the evening! A wonderful loft bedroom offers a bright, airy feeling while still being cozy and comfortable. A pull-out chair and murphy bed are offered to give more sleeping options.

Escape to this private 2 bedroom rustic cabin on the west shore of Cayuga Lake. Enjoy incredible views from the living room or soak up the sun on the dock. Appreciate a true happy hour on the screened-in porch or take libations on the lawn above the Lake. We provide linens, blankets, pillows, bath towels and kitchen towels. Disinfectant wipes provided & clean mattress covers provided. Taughannock falls State Park is just 6 miles south, along with several great wineries nearby & local town.

A magical treehouse perched over its own gorge on Cayuga Lake. This place is special! There’s a giant porch wrapped around a 300-year oak tree and a lakeside tea house that can serve as an extra bedroom. There’s a dock, fire pit, room for yard games by the water, plenty of outdoor seating on the porch, by the lake, or on the dock. All of this is minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and Taughannock Falls state park. It’s also a great base to explore the Finger Lakes wine region.

There is private lake access with a large dock via a walk (or drive) down a steep driveway (about 100 ft) and then a stairway with about 50 steps.

Quiet neighborhood. No guests, no parties, no motorized boats or jet skis, no pets, no smoking.

Relax and enjoy Cayuga Lake at this beautiful destination located in the heart of the finger lakes. Just a short scenic drive away to downtown Ithaca, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Wells College, as well as local wineries, fine eateries, spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails and gorgeous state parks. A beautiful stream runs parallel to the home. Take a scenic walk on the retired railroad tracks. Finish your day relaxing in the heated massage chair!

We rent only Sunday-Sunday in summer so if the dates are grayed out, please change your check-in and check-out dates to Sunday. Less than 2 miles from downtown Ithaca, This charming 2 bedroom Lake House on the West Shore of Cayuga Lake has off street parking for 2 cars and its own adorable Waterfalls with spectacular views. * Our Pet Policy* We will consider up to 2 Dogs each weighing 20 Lbs or less to accompany our guests, please inquire if needed.
