Just metres from the lake edge & less than 3km from the town centre, this sunny iconic renovated 1970's apt is the perfect place for a bit of R&R, or make the most of all the outdoor adventure that Taupo has to offer then come home & relax in the private thermal plunge pool. A swim in the lake is just a skip across the road. Soak up the afternoon sun whilst taking in the amazing 180 degree views of the lake & mountains from the comfort of the living room or the private courtyard and balcony.

The White Cottage

A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Lake Terrace Unit with Private Thermal Pool

This property has two sunny double bedrooms available with queen beds and a day bed in the living area suitable for one adult or child. The sunsets, lake and mountain views are spectacular. This is a great central spot for a summer or winter break. This is modern accommodation with a well equipped new kitchen and has everything for a relaxing stay in Taupo. The pool can be filled within an hour of arrival and is perfect after a day's tramping, skiing, kayaking or serious shopping!

Trout Hideaway

Unlimited WiFi Warm three bedroom home with everything you need to be comfortable. In a quiet street cul de sac. Excellent wood burner and heat pump for those cold winter nights and air con for those hot summer nights. Close to Mount Ruapehu and Lake Taupo. Ideal for those wanting to ski, tramp, fish, or enjoy all the attractions around Central Plateau. Excellent base for the Tongariro Crossing. My place is close to family-friendly activities and restaurants and dining.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Enjoy luxury beds and spacious open plan living. Five minutes from the lake with expansive lake views & gorgeous sunsets. A 30 minute gentle stroll along the lake foreshore to the lovely Taupo township, offers boutique shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. The house has two large decks for summer relaxation and 2 heat pumps for winter warmth. A plunge pool you can fill with natural thermal bore water is situated on the private rear deck for you to enjoy year round.

We are close to great views and family-friendly activities. 2 minutes walk to Old Coach Rd - Ohakune cycle track/walkway. Other cycle tracks nearby include Fisher Track, Bridge to Nowhere, Tramway Track and 42nd Traverse Mountain bike track. Bike hire available at Ohakune & National Park We are halfway between Whakapapa and Turoa skifields. 10minutes to Ohakune and 15 minutesNational Park Village. Visit Owhango ( 25 minutes ) for fishing, hunting and bush walks.

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi. This location represents some the best rural outlooks in New Zealand. The cabin is located on the banks of the world renowned trout fishing river the Wanganui. On a clear day you have wonderful views of Mts Ruapehu and Ngaruahoe, and a glimpse of Tongariro. The cabin and surrounds are exclusively yours to enjoy as there are no close neighbours.

Amazing views, one block from Lake, + ev charger

Located one block from the Lake and Two Mile Bay Reserve and boat ramp, the house is ideal for extended families and groups of friends. The house is spacious with lovely views of the lake, nice gardens for kids to run around in, and is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood.
