Casa Barron - Private GF Unit in Tropical Settings

We have a private, self-contained Ground Floor Unit under our home in the quiet, leafy suburb of Mundingburra in Townsville, North Queensland. The Unit is on the ground floor of our home with a shared secure entrance, a heated pool with a deck and on-site parking We are a short walk to nearby Sheriff Park and river walkways. The Unit is a 15 min drive to most places in Townsville with bus services available nearby. We have free NBN Wifi. We are pet friendly with a small charge per stay.

Peaceful, comfortable and well-appointed haven in a central location. Easy walking distance to CBD, stadium, Palmer Street, parks and some of the best bars and pubs in Townsville (a block from Commonwealth, a few from Empire, Bellevue and Metropol, and 15-20 minute walk to Flinders Street bars and restaurants). Yet in a quiet, treelined street where you can watch the birds feast on nectar while you work or relax in the front parlour. Also has air cond in most rooms and a 9 m magnesium pool.

Enjoy your own private 3-bedroom downstairs apartment with a full kitchen, open-plan lounge and dining area, and a peaceful front courtyard. You can also book the entire place on Airbnb. This self-contained space is perfect for families, couples or small groups seeking comfort and convenience in a central Townsville location. We’re currently in the process of refreshing some of the furniture, so items may differ from the listing photos while the overall layout and amenities remain the same.

Premier beachfront location on The Strand! Unit is across the road from the Water Park, Tobruk Pool, and the beach. Walking distance to Sealink ferries, taking you to Magnetic Island and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Explore the Underwater Museum and find our Siren at the pier. If you fancy a punt, take a walk to the casino (1.3km) or grab a bite on The Strand. Short stroll to the entertainment strip on Flinders Street. Unit ONLY accessible by two flights of stairs.

Kookaburra Cottage

Feel at ease in private, peaceful, natural surroundings. Best of both worlds - in the bush and only 5 mins to closest shops. 25mins from CBD. Plenty of room for trailers or caravans. 75meters from the main residence, and sharing a 20 acre property and garden with a border collie, wallabies, blue winged kookaburras, chooks, bees, cows and our family. Join Jess for Friday and Saturday morning yoga and coffee if you wish on the other side of the rainforest garden.

The Pineapple House Townsville comprises five individual two bedroom apartments. All of our guests love the location and proximity to restaurants, cafes and bars, family-friendly activities, and the The Strand Beach. The apartment is recently fully renovated. We're happy to host families (with kids), couples, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). Each apartment has a private courtyard and fully fenced separate garden space perfect for pets and children.
