From one of two decks, you'll see so much: a working harbor, big exposed rocks, small islands (bring your rain boots to trudge through the clam flats), and plenty of wildlife. At high tide launch your canoe and paddle around the harbor. Or just sit, read a book, and take it all in. A short ride (5-10 minutes) brings you to beautiful hiking trails, delicious food, locally owned boutiques, and so much more.

Cove Cottage is a secluded 1BR Cottage right off the Coast of the Atlantic Ocean with guests having a walking path with direct access to the beach. Balconies off the living room & bedroom are great to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. The spacious bedroom area is located on the entire 2nd Floor w/ a Queen Sofa Bed on the 1st floor to sleep an additional 2 guests -6min to Bass Harbor -10min to Southwest Harbor -30min to Acadia National Park Cadillac Mtn Entrance -35min to downtown Bar Harbor

Just a mile from Acadia trails and beaches, this humble cottage has a peaceful island vibe, relaxing family spaces, a fenced yard, and great front porch, with no dog or cleaning fee. Eat lobster year round, visit Bar Harbor, take the family on a boat ride to see Mount Desert Island's 26 peaks from the water. Come in winter to work and play, hike the snow covered mountains, ice skate and XC ski.

The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

Echo Lake Beach, Acadia Mt and Flying Mt trailheads are 10 min away. Approximately 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor.

Bas Harbor is a working harbor so there is always something to watch. Close to Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. We have 5G Wifi. Your guest house is completely private with a private entrance.
