The Hogstad Homestead

The Hogstad Homestead has been in our family for nearly 70 years. The name is in honor of my great grandparents Ardell&Elaine Hogstad who bought the property in the early 1950's. They raised their two children there and also operated a farm for many years. Since then it has been home to many family members. In 2017 my husband & I had the opportunity to buy it. It was home to us for 5 amazing years where we created many happy memories. We are now ready to share this special property with others!

Writer's cabin at Crazy Rooster Farm

Rustic cabin in WI Driftless region. Unique rustic cordwood oasis. A perfect getaway for a writer, artist, musician, or peace and quiet. You'll have 2 small cordwood cabins all to yourself. One is a writer's retreat with a queen futon bed, large desk, and ergonomic Aeron chair. The other is a cold shower/kitchen. There's a portable toilet. It's comfortable enough to be productive– rustic to create a unique, camp-like experience. The kitchen has a small fridge, a hot plate & toaster oven.

Elk Creek Vista: Quaint 3br Home

Our home is a great space for people who want to experience nature, while also being a short drive from city comforts. You will have room for family fun, whether that is inside the home or outside in the yard. Centrally located between Eau Claire, Lacrosse, and the Mississippi River, you are right near many outdoor activities throughout the year. At the house, you also have a screened in porch off the back which is a great place to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a book in the evening.

Cabin on the Black

Escape to serenity at The Cabin on the Black, a unique retreat boasting a lofted sleeping area with a Full- & Queen-sized bed (slightly narrow/steep stairs). Perched above the tranquil Black River, a scenic stairway leads to a cozy bench, inviting you to immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance. Whether you seek a breath of fresh air, hiatus from reality, or accommodations for an event in Winona, Arcadia or La Crosse, Cabin on the Black extends a warm welcome for you to unwind & recharge.

Med Park House

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. 4 bedroom 2 full bath house, comes with TV and wifi, pots and pans for cooking, plates, cutlery etc. Pond in the backyard for swimming and fishing, Zipline and waterslide (when water is high enough) private overhang for family get togethers, We also have campers so you may have occasional neighbors! This is country living, nothing fancy but homey and comfy!! As of Oct 2025, we have added a shower house by the pond!

Little House in the Valley

Little House in the Valley is a must-see property, carefully restored to maintain it's original farmhouse charm while adding the modern touches needed to unwind & recharge. It is situated at the end of a private road, surrounded by 120 acres of fields & rolling hills- a nature lover's dream. Located just minutes from town, golf courses, local wedding venues, snowmobile trails, wineries & so much more. Relax & allow yourself to be embraced by the calming, natural charm of this home.

MED Park Campground (cougar)

MED Park Campground has so much to offer including the pond for swimming , fishing or just a place to relax by the water. We offer camper rentals or you can bring your own camper with water and electric hookup provided for you. It is a beautiful country setting just minutes from town.
