Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

House of Mud & Straw sits solidly & silently on open paddocks shared with cows & the sweeping weather. Kick back, cook, play tunes, do puzzles, drink wine, snooze & be merry in this comfy, stylistic, earthy farmstead. Feather & linen beds, pianola parlour, loft chill out space, vintage sitting room, cosy nooks & curated creature comforts. A 2 min walk to the historic Pig and Whistle pub. Nestled amongst the trees, adjacent to the Wombat State Forest, "Le Shed" is unique & relaxing, perfect for singles or a couple. Ideally located just a short walk into the tiny town of Blackwood offering the country style hotel, with great pub grub, and the PO offers good coffee & light lunches in the garden. Local attractions include B'wood Ridge Nursery offering amazing food & wine, & Garden of St Erth a short bush walk away. Trentham,10 mins away, Daylesford/Kyneton 25 mins. Pet Friendly

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

Tiny house with loft overlooking country gardens

The perfect romantic escape. A bespoke tiny house nestled under the gum trees overlooking a country cottage style garden. With kitchenette + own bathroom + loft style bed, it has everything you need for a special night away. Including a fire pit + outdoor dining space, along with wood heater inside it's perfect for all seasons. Breakfast of hand gathered eggs, bread, milk supplied for Fri - Sun stays. Loft bed is up a ladder. We do have peacocks, dogs, mini goats, + poultry on the property.

The Container House and Sauna

The Container House and Sauna in Wombat State Forrest, Blackwood Victoria. Comprised of two fourty foot shipping containers, fitted out to create a unique and comfortable stay. With two bedrooms (1 queen and 1 bunk room) the house sleeps four comfortably. More beds may be available subject to availability. A seven minute walk to town, Blackwood Pub, Post Office Cafe, Blackwood Mineral Springs reserve, Lerdederg River and walking tracks. Warm yourself this winter with a relaxing hot sauna!

Guguburra Cabin

Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately

Luxury One Bedroom House

Little Jem is a luxurious brand-new house designed for comfort and relaxation. The house is spacious, elegantly furnished and walking distance to town. Little Jem has all the comforts, with its luxurious king size bed, big double shower, spa bath for two, separate toilet and all with under floor tile heating to keep your feet warm. The electric fireplace for those cold nights is beautiful to watch while on the big comfy couch or just to have on while watching the smart tv.

A gorgeous, gently restored miners cottage set in a tranquil location, Shepherds Hill Cottage is part of a working alpaca farm. The secluded cottage has it's own private garden and is right next to the alpaca nursery paddock, so expect to see lots of crias (baby alpacas)! The cottage is conveniently located, 10mins to Kyneton, 15mins to Trentham, 20 mins to Daylesford and 1hr 15mins to Melbourne.

Casa Rosita is close to great views, restaurants and dining, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love the outdoors space away from traffic noise, yet handy to 3 towns in the area. The nursery directly opposite has a café with good coffee and cakes. There's plenty of wood for the open fire and the hydronic system, which heats the whole place during winter.
