Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Camp Rising ~ Cygnet, Tasmania

Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Absolute Beach Front "Wee Doo" Eaglehawk Neck

We are happy to offer our family beach front shack for you to enjoy. "Wee Doo" is situated on the beach at Pirates Bay, "Doo Town", Eaglehawk Neck. EHN is the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula, Port Arthur, The Tessalated pavement, Devils Kitchen and the Three Capes Walk to name just a few. Fishing, surfing, bush walking or just relaxing are some of the pastimes you can enjoy right on your door step. Private beach access Wee Doo is newly renovated and fully self contained.

The Hide - Private Waterfront Bruny Island.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.

Bruny Boathouse

The Bruny Boathouse offers sweeping views across the d’Entrecasteaux Channel to Satellite Island and Hartz Mountain. Centrally located in Alonnah, it’s the perfect base for exploring Bruny’s wild beauty. Slow down with sea air and gum trees, gather by the fire pit with marshmallows, or soak under the stars in the outdoor bath. A family-friendly shack with all the comforts, made for island living.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
