The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Townfoot Byre, Troutbeck is a beautiful bedroom suite in our 330 year old traditional Lakeland farmhouse. The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Spa, sauna, swimming pool and gym access at a local club is included, free with your stay. A 7Kw EV charger is available, if you're travelling in an electric vehicle.

View to the Fells is a two bedroom apartment over two floors situated minutes from the centre of Ambleside. Views to Loughrigg Fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe dominate with the rooftops of Ambleside below. The Coniston Fells are also clearly visible (weather permitting). The apartment faces south west and benefits from afternoon and evening sun. A private balcony is accessed from the kitchen; just the place to sit and relax after a day on the fells , so makes the most of the sunsets.
